The second edition of CASACOR Piauí was the stage for the debut of Cartaxo Bantim Paisagismo with the “Jardim Simbiose” environment, a space that transcended aesthetics by proposing a deep connection between sustainability, memory and affection. Designed by landscape architects Andressa Januário Bantim and Marcélia Cartaxo, the project stood out for its innovative and conscious approach, aligned with the pillars of environmental responsibility of Cerbras, a renowned ceramic tile and porcelain tile industry.
The journey through Jardim Simbiose began at an imposing portal, structured by ecological bricks and covered with reused materials, adorned with mirrored mosaic art. This entrance already signaled the environment's proposal to value the life cycle and transformation. In the center of the garden, a centuries-old olive tree, a symbol of peace, wisdom and longevity, invites contemplation and reconnection with nature. “Our objective was to create an environment that speaks directly to the soul and brings back good childhood memories and the importance of our connection with nature”, explains Andressa.
The garden floor, with its organic and sinuous forms, is an invitation to sensory experience, with carefully selected vegetation that evokes memories of grandparents' gardens. The choice of materials reinforces the message of sustainability and hospitality.
"We used Cerbras' Ceppo Stone Beige porcelain tiles throughout the garden. Its light tone and organic cutouts refer to the movement of the forest, making the space light and welcoming. In the water mirror, Soho Graphite porcelain tiles create a surface that reflects visitors' dreams, embracing this atmosphere of contemplation", details Marcélia Cartaxo.
The partnership with Cerbras was strategic and essential for the Jardim Simbiose concept. The company stands out for its sustainable practices that permeate the entire production process, from floor manufacturing to material disposal. Water reuse, air monitoring, hot air reuse, use of biogas, selective collection, waste recycling and reverse packaging logistics are just some of the initiatives that attest to Cerbras' commitment to the environment.
"The choice of Cerbras was natural, as its sustainable practices further enhanced the proposal for our garden. It is a perfect symbiosis between design, nature and responsibility", concludes the architect.
Jardim Simbiose has established itself as an environment that goes beyond beauty, provoking reflection on the importance of sustainability and the appreciation of our emotional memories, all with the support and quality of Cerbras products.
